Spectrum Analytical, Inc. Featuring Hanibal Technology, one of the areas leading environmental testing laboratories providing quantitative analysis of soil, water and air, is pleased to announce today that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Mitkem Corporation. Under the terms of this acquisition Mitkem Corporation will now be known as Mitkem Laboratories a Division of Spectrum Analytical, Inc. Featuring Hanibal Technology.

Mitkem is a highly regarded environmental testing laboratory with over 12,000 square foot of laboratory space located at 175 Metro Center Boulevard in Warwick, RI. Since 1994, Mitkem has been committed to the production of valid data of known quality through the use of analytical measurements that are accurate, reliable, and complete. This commitment to quality enabled Mitkem to receive its first USEPA CLP contract and USACE validation within only a few months of starting business.

The analytical services offered by Mitkem include United States Environmental Protection Agency certified testing services for soil, sediment and sludge, solid and hazardous waste, ground water, industrial/municipal wastewater, potable water; plant and animal tissue; and air. Similar to Spectrum’s Agawam and Tampa, Florida facilities, Mitkem is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and is staffed with a highly qualified and dedicated team of professionals.
